ASSEMBLER
We’re looking for a reliable individual to assist with assembling office furniture, shelving, and other items. Responsibilities include following assembly instructions and using basic tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Shifts available: Monday-Wednesday 9am-3pm, Thursday-Friday 9am-12pm
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and learn to use a pallet mover
CHECK-IN DESK
We’re seeking a friendly and organized individual to assist with member check-ins. Responsibilities include greeting members, confirming membership status, verifying authorized shoppers, and relaying announcements. Strong communication and hospitality skills are essential for providing a smooth check-in experience.
Shifts available: Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm
No lifting or standing required, a friendly and outgoing attitude is ideal.
SORTING AND PRODUCT DISPLAY
We’re looking for a dedicated individual to help sort, categorize, and stock new inventory in the warehouse. Responsibilities include organizing donated goods, categorizing items by type and price, and maintaining an efficient workspace.
Shifts available: Monday-Wednesday 9am-4pm Thursday-Friday 9am-12pm

WHATSAPP INVENTORY
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist with taking pictures of our new inventory each week. The role involves capturing images of incoming items and sending them out via WhatsApp to notify our members of the latest stock updates.
Shifts available Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
SHIPMENTS
We’re seeking a dependable individual to assist with receiving and handling donations. Responsibilities include unloading items, transporting them to the sorting area, and stacking them neatly to ensure donations are organized. This role requires the ability to lift and move boxes safely.
Shifts available: Monday-Wednesday 9am-4pm, Thursday-Friday 9am-12pm

TEACHER RESOURCE STORE CLERK (SEASONAL)
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and hospitable individual to help with the operations of Storehouse’s Teacher Resource Store. Responsibilities include organizing products, managing check-ins and check-outs, assisting shoppers, providing customer service, and maintaining a tidy store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people.
Shifts are available July-August on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Sept-May on Thursdays. We are closed in June. Shifts are from 3:45pm – 6:00pm
TEACHER RESOURCE STORE PRODUCT STOCKING
We’re seeking individuals to sort, categorize and stock new inventory in the Teacher Resource Store. Responsibilities include organizing supplies, categorizing items by type and maintaining an efficient workspace.
Shifts are available July-August on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Sept – May on Thursdays only. Shift are from 2:30 – 4:30pm.
—VOLUNTEERING INFORMATION
- Suggested Attire: Wear clothing that you would not mind getting dirty. Close-toed shoes are required. Layers are helpful, as the warehouse fluctuates in temperature.
- Enter through the designated volunteer entrance (see map(opens in new tab)) and check-in in the cafe at the start of every volunteer shift. Please arrive on time.
- Come with a servant’s heart and a good attitude, ready to pour into others and be flexible in helping the team.
- Snacks and refreshments are available if needed.
- Most volunteer shifts involve standing and light labor for 2-3 hours. Only certain volunteer positions are able to perform tasks while seated. Please consider this when signing up to fill different roles.
- Storehouse of Community Resources will post to its Facebook page(opens in new tab) by 7 a.m. if it is closing due to weather or other extenuating circumstances. You are always welcome to reschedule your shift if you are not comfortable driving.
- We do not have a secure location for volunteers to store items such as purses or other valuables. Please lock any important personal effects in your car for the duration of your volunteer shift.
